Week 1 Blog - Lecture 1 Scribble Ideas for Folie

During the lecture I started to play around with some ideas, above are various basic shapes that distantly resemble architectural buildings and or building elements. My first idea is to highlight the effect the vegetation has on a building facade. (positive effects)

During the lecture there was a slight showing the relation ship between Architects and Engineers as two interlocking hands.. the idea that working together and integrating the two skill sets is highly beneficial to the success of a project. The diagram gave me an idea for a Interlocking Tensile structure.. With expressed Structural elements could be an interesting design feature in the Folie.

Progressing the tensile structure further. Indicates how the members might change angle
Doesn't show interlocking members clearly!!
